What We Do

A vinyl liner pool gives you the most flexibility at the lowest upfront cost.

We've been installing vinyl liner pools across Guelph, Fergus, Rockwood, Acton, and Wellington County since 2006. Vinyl liner pools can be built in virtually any shape or size, making them the right choice for irregular yards, larger footprints, or homeowners who want a custom look without a concrete price tag.

We source our liners from Dey's, using Kafko brand Canadian-made liners. Hundreds of patterns and colours available. Fixed quote before contracts are signed. Same crew from excavation to first swim.

Why Vinyl Liner

Any shape, any size. The most flexible inground pool you can build.

Vinyl liner pools are built on a structural frame that can be configured into virtually any shape or size. That makes them the right choice for unusual yard dimensions, larger pools, or homeowners who want something beyond the standard rectangle. The liner itself comes in hundreds of patterns and colours, so the finished product looks exactly the way you want it to.

The tradeoff is longevity. Liners typically last 10 to 15 years before replacement is needed. We source our liners from Dey's, using Kafko brand Canadian-made liners built for Ontario's climate. When the time comes, we handle the replacement the same way we handle the install: fixed quote, same crew, no surprises.

Vinyl Liner Pool Installation FAQ

Your vinyl liner pool installation questions, answered.

How long does a vinyl liner pool installation take in Ontario?

A vinyl liner pool installation in Ontario typically takes 8 to 10 weeks from excavation to first swim. The structural frame, plumbing, and electrical are completed before the liner is set. Weather and permit timing can affect the schedule. Pristine Pools provides a confirmed timeline before contracts are signed.

How long does a vinyl liner last in an inground pool?

A vinyl liner in an inground pool typically lasts 10 to 15 years with proper care. Factors that affect liner lifespan include water chemistry balance, UV exposure, and physical wear. Pristine Pools sources Kafko brand Canadian-made liners from Dey's, designed specifically for Ontario's freeze-thaw climate.

Are vinyl liner pools cheaper than fiberglass pools?

Vinyl liner pools typically have a lower upfront cost than fiberglass pools. However, liner replacement every 10 to 15 years adds to the long term cost of ownership. Fiberglass pools cost more upfront but require no liner replacement. Over a 20 year period the total cost of both options is often comparable. Pristine Pools will walk you through both at the site visit.

Can a vinyl liner pool be built in any shape or size?

Yes. Vinyl liner pools are built on a structural frame that can be configured into virtually any shape or size. This makes them the most flexible inground pool option. Unlike fiberglass pools which come in manufacturer shapes, vinyl liner pools can be fully customized to suit unusual yard dimensions, larger footprints, or unique design requirements.

What patterns and colours are available for vinyl pool liners?

Vinyl pool liners are available in hundreds of patterns and colours, including solid colours, tile patterns, mosaic designs, and nature-inspired prints. Pristine Pools sources liners from Dey's using Kafko brand Canadian-made liners. The liner pattern you choose affects the overall look of the finished pool, with darker liners creating a more dramatic effect and lighter liners producing a classic bright blue appearance.

Do vinyl liner pools hold up in Ontario winters?

What happens if a vinyl liner gets a tear or puncture?

Small tears and punctures in a vinyl liner can often be repaired with a patch kit without draining the pool. Larger damage or liner failure typically requires full liner replacement. Pristine Pools assesses liner condition during service visits and will recommend repair or replacement based on the extent of the damage and the remaining lifespan of the liner.
